Democracy Index 2011 from the Economist Intelligence Unit: Azerbaijan from 135th place down to 140th.

Last week the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) published its Democracy Index for 2011.

Among 167 countries Azerbaijan took the 140th place, down from 135th the previous year.
Russia is on the 117th down from 107th a year earlier.
